I really, really liked Paranorman :D It was actiony, funny, and sweet and movies like this always blow my mind considering they're stop motion. Norman is also a little cutie.

Of course, I really like Coraline as well for similar reasons, added with a really creepy atmosphere. And I think Coraline and Norman would get a long pretty well. She's more outgoing and outspoken while he's more a thinker and compassionate soul. I could see them as friends only or a cute crossover pairing too (Normaline?) so i tried to make the picture relatively ambiguous for now. Guest appearance by a ghost from Nightmare Before Christmas.

I'm really very happy with this :iconiloveitplz: It came out pretty close to how I pictured it. I did make Coraline's head rounder than she looks in the movie, cause the more square top head wasn't doing it for me. otherwise I tried to translate their features into kind of a hybrid of my style and the designer's style. And I'm super happy with this background! And the relatively short time I did this all in :3 Bonus points to anyone who knows where the patch on Norman's Sweatshirt is from ;3
